SekMo PROJECT 2026-2028

SekMo project: Development of agentic control systems (2021-2027.1.01.26-1729)

Project Total Cost: 111 955,20 €
Project timeline: 01.05.2026 – 30.04.2028

The R8 Digital Operator is designed to proactively optimize building operations by minimizing energy consumption while maintaining a favorable indoor climate. As the adoption of solar energy increases, it is crucial to integrate solar energy production data into the building’s control algorithms. This integration supports energy conservation efforts and aligns with the goals of the green transition, making the management of buildings more sustainable and efficient.

The aim of this project is to:

1. Develop a framework that integrates the current digital twin framework with intelligent control agents, thereby advancing the state of the art in production environments.

2. Ensure the control agent’s robustness, adaptability, and the stability of the resulting control systems through rigorous analysis. This objective is particularly well aligned with the candidate’s previously demonstrated expertise in the study of complex systems.

3. Enhance the current digital twin framework with advanced intelligence that enables the control agent to autonomously select the most suitable control strategy or data-driven control method for a given problem. A self-correcting digital twin framework will be highly valuable for supporting portfolio expansion as deployment rates continue to increase.
