We are excited to announce a Tender & Procurement Specialist career opportunity at R8 Technologies. The position is primarily open for applicants based in Estonia, and we also welcome remote candidates from across Europe. We are looking for a driven specialist with strong writing skills, a sharp eye for opportunities, and proven experience in public procurement or tender management.
As our first dedicated Tender & Procurement Specialist, you will build and own R8’s tender capability from the ground up – identifying opportunities across European markets and leading the full bid lifecycle. R8 Jenny is a physics-driven energy optimization platform for commercial buildings, currently live in 26 countries and scaling rapidly towards 10,000+ buildings. Your contribution will directly accelerate our mission to make buildings greener across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and identify relevant tender opportunities across European markets (EU institutions, public bodies, and private procurement portals)
- Lead end-to-end bid management: qualification, writing, submission, and follow-up
- Build and maintain a library of reusable tender materials (company profiles, references, certifications, compliance documents)
- Coordinate internally with sales, legal, and technical teams to gather inputs and meet deadlines
- Track procurement regulations and frameworks relevant to energy efficiency and proptech
- Report on pipeline, win rates, and lessons learned
In order to succeed You must have…
- Proven experience in tender management or public procurement, ideally in tech, energy, or real estate sectors
- Strong writing skills — you can turn technical content into compelling proposal language
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable owning a process independently
- Familiarity with EU procurement frameworks (OJEU/TED) is a strong advantage
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
