1.2 Project description 

The project will enable the launch of a new service that contributes to two TAIE focal areas: 

1. Digital solutions in all areas of life, as a digital solution for data-driven assessment and certification of energy efficiency and carbon footprint will be created. 

2. Smart and sustainable energy solutions, as it is a product directly aimed at reducing energy consumption and motivating and enabling sustainable consumer behavior. 

In the framework of this application, we intend to protect a new unique product, the patent of which will be publicly available in the relevant registers’ searches. R8 Technologies will bring to the market a new certificate that proves the energy efficiency and reliability of energy consumption in buildings. 

The product has been developed by R8 Technologies OÜ. 

The project No 2021-2027.1.01.24-0512 R8 International Protection of Intellectual Property has been co-financed by the European Union.

2. EAS Grants Project Area: Support for the Mapping and Development of Cybersecurity Levels

2.1 Objective

The goal of this support initiative is to enhance the cybersecurity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Estonia.

With this support, Estonian SMEs can utilize external consultants to identify the current level of their IT systems’ cybersecurity. They can then implement necessary improvements to elevate their cybersecurity, protecting themselves against cyber-attacks and the associated economic damages. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with the Estonian Information System Authority.

2.2 Project Benefits

Through this project, R8 Technologies will develop and implement essential security protocols for its IT infrastructure, create a cybersecurity training program for employees, and increase awareness according to the “Cybersecurity Roadmap” action plan.
